Salvage
Upcycling & Thrift Studio

No Factory Finish

London lacks accessible sustainable fashion options. Second hand and vintage stores exist, but are often expensive & positioned as luxury. At the same time, repair and tailoring skills are declining & services are costly, causing wearable clothes to be discarded and replaced with fast fashion. Salvage studio operates as both a thrift and up-cycling workspace where customers bring their own garments or purchase low-cost second hand pieces onsite. They can access basic tailoring services, guided upcycling sessions, and shared tools such as sewing machines and materials.

“SALVAGE SESSIONS”

Core idea: The studio as both a social and creative space, advertising the specialized upcycling sessions on instagram.
