I am a lover of beautiful things, aesthetics, colors, and patterns, so I’ve always been drawn to design.

My interest started early, long before I had the language for it. In middle school, I ran a “niche meme” account, which was essentially a highly specific content account that posts curated collages intended to resonate with a small audience. They were composed of multiple images and text that came together to define a particular mood or scenario, and I would spend hours searching and organizing google pngs on my Iphone 7.

But it’s easy to assume design is just making things look good. Experience in professional digital spaces has shown me that design is far more than aesthetics. It’s grounded in research, shaped by critical thinking, and driven by empathy. It challenges me to form unexpected connections, to hold multiple ideas at once, and to solve problems in ways that feel both creative and intentional. At its core, design feels almost psychological; rooted in understanding how people see, feel, and respond.
